Setting
ROUND 1
For the setting, players will be competing in the inner sanctum of the Seventh Sanctum. This is a large room, approximately 100m x 100m x 20m, carved roughly circular out of the Terrilian Range that the main CH Longhouse backs into. The only way to enter the inner sanctum is through this longhouse (secret entrances excluded) past the grand hall and skeletal throne. This room is multi-purpose, traditionally used as a sparring ground, weapon training range (dummies and targets), and cafeteria for low tier members. It has occasionally been re-purposed as an interrogation chamber or prison with several cages forged of various materials.
For this tournament, elements of those various uses will be present in the main arena.
Two sets of 5m long oaken tables with stools, various meats, wines, and scraps strewn atop
Two iron cages 2m x 2m x 3m
A wall of 12 loose wrought iron shackles
Two weapon racks against opposing walls, each holding 5 various weapons of iron teir
A row of 5 hay, human dummies
A row of 4 hay archery targets
Several lit torches along the perimeter
One 5m wide wrought iron candle fixture hanging above in the middle
One table filled with interrogation tools
Another filled with miscellaneous alchemical ingredients
At the far back, opposite the entrance to the Grand Hall, a large 2m wide fire pit with simmering pots of stew along a wrought iron hearth
The arrangement of which will change per match (participants are free to write these as they see fit).
There will be an invisible field 10m above the ground floor and 10m wide around the peripheral of the area. This is to allow participants to utilize the entire area, including the walls, while permitting non-combatants view from above. The doors to the Grand Hall will be barred and reinforced magically to prevent escape.
