Leoric smirked as he heard the raging crowd all around him. He was standing on the far end of a fairly large arena awaiting his opponent to show up. The arena itself was made of a very glossy Marble, the Marble slabs were at least two feet by two feet and there was at least twenty running the length and width of the arena. Once the marble slabs ended there was a solid two and a half foot drop down to lush green grass on all sides, minus the walkway to the arena and the stairs leading up.

The Brawler was approached by a 'businessman' one night after he had just mopped the floor with half a dozen men in the bar they were both drinking at. He was asked if he would be interested in fighting in a tournament, large amounts of gold would be dished out to the winner. Leoric was also promised a challenge, a real fight as opposed to easy pickens in the pub. The Businessman knew how to persuade Leoric that was for sure. A Challenge, Lots of gold, and fame even if he lost... it was everything the self absorbed Brawler could ever want.

“Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to the First Annual Brawler's Tournament. This match is sure to be one hell of a match! We have Leoric Rockfist, famous for clearing Bar's of useless trash while burying his face in a tankard of ale! Versus. Max Dirks! Famous for his Twin Beretta’s and his appearance in the Lornius Corporate challenge last year!”

Leoric chuckled as he looked up at the beautiful clear sky with several white doves flying over head, Streams of magic could be seen shooting up into the sky and exploding as they reached a certain height, fading to nothingness against the brilliant blue sky. He looked back down and turned his attention to the stairs, awaiting his opponent.
